Found this northern shoveler at Horicon Marsh National Wildlife Refuge on Wednesday. Right off the road on 49 east of Waupun. It's a new bird for me.
Wednesday was also fun as I got to talk photography with a bunch of enthusiastic third graders at Lodi Elementary School (thanks Sherry!) and delivered some engagement pictures. Hopefully I inspired a few of them. I think they had fun. :)
